The Greater Springfield Volunteer Fire Department (GSVFD) regrets to announce the passing of life member Edward Collins on Wednesday, July 29, 2015. Ed joined the GSVFD in April 1974. He served as GSVFD Chief during multiple terms

October 1997 to October 1999
October 2006 to December 2006
He served as GSVFD Vice-President from October 1981 to October 1983. He also held several other line officer positions.
